Advanced Microwave Components is a privately owned Chapter S Corporation that is located in the heart of beautiful Clearwater, Florida. AMC is the brainchild of Anthony John Sciarrino, better known a "Tony" throughout the RF industry. In 1945, Tony Sciarrino joined the US Navy like many of his contemporaries did during the war years. After serving the Navy and his Country with great distinction, Tony was honorably discharged in 1947. Tony graduated from the University of Cooper Union in New York in 1952 with an engineering degree. However, Tony never forgot the tools that he learned in the military after graduating from school. Tony had become an incredible leader to the people around him. Tony was and is the personification of commitment and loyalty and these traits are still evident when you observe the professionalism of the personnel that AMC has assembled. Many of the AMC employees have made long term commitments to the succes of this corporation and their commitment is clearly evident when you see the success of this corporation. Tony treats all his employees as though they are the most important people in the world and it is this type of personal touch that carries over to our customers from our employees that has made Advanced Microwave Components great!
