Advanced Microwave Components
(AMC) is a privately owned small business located
in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. AMC was officially opened
in the spring of 1991, specializing in microwave related
precision machining, manufacturing and repair of waveguide
rotary joints. In 1992, AMC expanded its manufacturing
facility to handle all passive waveguide/microwave components.
This was done to accommodate the many requests for AMC
to provide complete waveguide assemblies with the same
expedient service as always.
AMC assembled a management, engineering, and manufacturing
staff second to none. AMC's Personnel have experience
in the microwave/waveguide related field ranging from
3 to 50 years. AMC now manufactures a wide variety of
standard waveguide components for the microwave/satellite
industry and keeps several items on the shelf for
immediate delivery! The heart of AMC is its ability to
produce quality waveguide components to your custom prints
with a turnaround of only one or two days.
AMC also houses a complete rotary joint refurbishment
department committed to restoring used rotary joints to
"like new condition". And our installation crew is always
busy outfitting a new SNG vehicle full of waveguide assemblies
and rotary joints.
The quality control department is located in the center
of operations at AMC, and includes several digital height
gauges, calibrated surface plates, and a host of certified/calibrated
inspection equipment. The engineering lab houses the electrical
equipment including a Wiltron 360B Network Analyzer,
used to electrically check all components at AMC.
AMC has grown into the premier waveguide/microwave
components manufacturer in the industry. Our reliability,
